Lunchtime Conversations

Today we talked about death over lunch.

One advanced the theory of the eternal soul, as he salted his boiled potatoes.

Another articulated how Darwin

Believed in heaven – although I think that was a hunch,

Besides, he admitted, nobody knows.

I reflected on bananas,
